MS ABDB secured their third straight DST FA Cup trophy after a thrilling 3-2 victory over brave Indera SC in the final at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium last night.MS ABDB clinched a league and Cup double having won the DST Super League earlier this season.
Heavy downpour and a waterlogged pitch have minimally affected both teams but none of the energy and enthusiasm were absent in the season ender with the fierce rivals aiming to add the last silverware.
In the opening half an hour, MS ABDB, the newly crowned DST Super League champions looked to have had running away with an unassailable 3-0 lead and curtains for Indera SC.
Aliuddin Besar opened the scoring in the fifth minute before Razimie Ramli added a second in the 12th minute.
Abd Azizi Ali Rahman produced a wonder strike for the club’s third of the night which ultimately proved the match winner.

The second half belonged to Indera SC with MS ABDB having to withstand a barrage of crosses and enterprising play from their reinvigorated opponents.
Asri Aspar gave Indera a lifeline after netting from the penalty spot moments after a MS ABDB player was awarded a booking what apparently considered a professional foul.
The referee denied a penalty with the extent of an Indera defender making contact to a MS ABDB player who allegedly slipped in his path not known.
The match was sent into frenetic scenes when the goalkeeper was troubled by a near perfect cross before Nur Ikmal Damit pounced in a goalmouth scramble in the 90th minute.
