Jerudong - Jerudong FC were denied top spot in the DST Super League after a last-gasp Kurmin @ Ridhwan bin Awg Hj Bini goal earned Kilanas FC a share of the spoils in a 3-3 draw at the Hassanal BoUkiah National Stadium last night.
Jerudong FC raced to a 1-0 lead inside the opening minute through Md Esmendy bin Brahim, with Muhd Abu Bakar bin Mahari extending that advantage in the 13th minute.
Izzul Wazien bin Osman struck two minutes before the break to give Kilanas FC a lifeline, allowing for Mohd Razi bin Hj Lamit to level the scores at 2-2 in the 63rd minute.
Asnawi Syazni bin Abd Aziz looked to have clinched victory for Jerudong FC in the 81st minute, but Kurmin ensured that Kilanas FC had the last laugh, earning his side a valuable first point of the season in three attempts.
The result saw Jerudong FC climb above Majra PC into third in the standings, albeit only on goal difference, whilst Kilanas FC remain in 9th.
Meanwhile, the afternoon fixture between MS ABDB and Wijaya FC at the Belapan Track and Field Complex saw the former maintain their 100 percent record in the league.
It wasn't until the final minute of added time that matters were settled, when PVT Mohammad Safari bin Wahit popped up with:the winner for MS ABDB, meaning his side ascended to second in the table.
The DST Super League continues today, where LLRC FT will be looking to hang on to top spot with a win against Indera SC at the Belapan Track and Field Complex. Kick-off is at 8.15pm.
