Marja United FC Beat Kilanas FC

Bandar Seri Begawan - The DST Super League promised to raise the standard of Bruneian football by pitching the best 10 teams in the nation against each other, and it has certainly delivered as the battle to be king of the hill took another twist last night.

Majra United FC beat Kilanas FC, 3-1, at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium last night to go top of the DST Super League standings.

Noor Raimi @Shahremy bin Karim broke the deadlock in the 34t" minute, before Mohammad Julremi bin Haji Zaini doubled that advantage six minutes later.

Mohd Nor Hidayatullah bin Hj Zaini offered Kilanas FC a sniff of the spoils when he found the back of the net in the 75t1 minute, but Mohd Ikmal Hakim bin Hj Mohd Yunnos slammed the door shut three minutes from time with Majra FC's third goal of the night.

The result saw Indera SC knocked down into second, with Majra United FC now leading their closest rivals by one point with their total of eight.

MS ABDB will be looking to make their title intentions known tonight when they play LLRC FT at the Berakas Sports Complex. Kick-off is at 9pm.
