DST SUPER LEAGUE 2017 - RESULT

Wijaya FC (pic) moved to third in the DST Super League after a 1-0 win against Jerudong FC tonight.
A penalty from Md Nasyrul Wafiy Hj Hassan three minutes before the break at the Berakas Sports Complex helped Wijaya jump two spots and displace Indera SC and Kasuka FC in the 11-team table.
Wijaya are now on 21 points, Indera 20 and Kasuka 19.
Meanwhile at the Balapan Track & Field, Kota Ranger FC came back from three goals down to draw 3-3 with Kasuka and remain the only unbeaten team in the competition.
With 29 points from 11 games, Kota Ranger are just one point behind defending champions and leaders MS ABDB - who have played one game more.
Kasuka were 3-0 up in the 24th minute after a brace from Md Esmendy Ibrahim (min 14' and 24'). Afindi Yati Tuah opened the scoring in the sixth minute.
However, Kota Ranger pulled back to 3-2 at the break thanks to goals from Abu Bakar Mahari (min 28' and 45+2'), with
Md Faiz Farhan Kamat scoring the equaliser in the 73rd minute.
Abu Bakar's goals means he now leads the goal scorers table with 18 goals, one ahead of MS ABDB's Abd Azizi Ali Rahman.
