THERE were no surprises in the fifth round of the DST Super League with Indera SC dislodging Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council (MS ABDB) from the top of the table following their 3-2 win over Jerudong FC at the Balapan Track and Field at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex on Tuesday.

Abdul Muiz Sisa, Sahrin Momin and Mohammad Khayrun Salleh scored for Indera in a match marred by bad tackles and officiating.

Mohd Endy Soehardy Awg Sapar and Abu Bakar Mahari scored for Jerudong FC who are currently sixth in the table.

MS ABDB put on a memorable performance on Monday night, keeping their 100 per cent win record in the league after thrashing Liang Lumut Recreational Club Football Team (LLRC FT) 4-0. The Armymen are currently one point behind league leaders Indera SC.

Captain Affendy Hj Akup, Abdul Azizi Ali Rahman, Budiman Jumat and Muhammad Bahrin Hamidon all found the net for MS ABDB.

It was the second consecutive defeat for LLRC. They fell 5-1 to Indera SC in their previous game.

Third-placed Majra FC defeated Kilanas FC 3-1 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas on Sunday.

It was Kilanas' third defeat in the league.

Shahremy Karim, Mohammad Julremi Hj Zaini and Mohd Ikmal Hakim Hj Mohd Yunnos all found the net for Majra in the victory.

The clash between Wijaya FC and QAF FC on Saturday was suspended after the game was plunged into darkness following a floodlight failure at the Balapan Track and Field at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.

The two teams were hauled off the pitch just 12 minutes into the game with the scoreboard reading 0-0.

The National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) apologised for any inconvenience caused and an announcement on the date and venue of the rematch will be made in time.

Fourth-placed Royal Brunei Police Forces Sports Council (MS PDB) recorded their back-to-back win after thrashing Najip FC 5-0 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas on Friday.

Mohd Fazizzul Hussin and captain Rosmini Hj Abd Kahar scored a brace for MS PDB.

Md Syarafuddin Hamdi Hj Talip also managed to get his name onto the score sheet in the rout.

Eighth-placed QAF will be searching for their first win when they take on LLRC in the first match of week five tomorrow.

MS ABDB will look to regain the top slot in the table when they play Jerudong FC on Saturday.

Indera SC will also be gunning to keep their hold atop the table when they take on Majra FC the next day.

Seventh placed Wijaya will take to the field against MS PDB on the same day.

Kilanas FC will face Najip FC in the final match of the week five on Monday.
