KILANAS are fully aware of the threat Royal Brunei Police Forces
Sports Council (MS PDB) can pose in their Brunei FA Cup 2012
quarter-final clash tonight at 8 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National
Stadium in Berakas.
One of the strongest team in the tournament, MS PDB are a side that not many would like to go up against.
But talking to Kilanas FC assistant coach Muhammad Radzuan Hj Madali, it is clear that he feels Kilanas FC are ready for the game.
"For the past few weeks, we have been focusing on the fitness training. The players are all ready. There are no injuries and the squad is in a good spirit," said the coach.
"The players are looking forward to playing against MS PDB tomorrow," he told The Brunei Times last night.
"However at the same time we are fully aware that MS PDB is a very strong team. Their players are very quick and they are very fit too. It is going to be a very interesting match tomorrow. We are looking forward to it."
Kilanas FC defeated BESA FC 5-1 in the third-round match of the tournament at the Balapan Track and Field at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas in October.
Mohamed Azmi Hj Zainin, Syazwan Azizi Hj Mohd Taib, Mohd Nor Hidayatullah Hj Zaini,Mohd Khairul Hj Abd Halim and Naasiruddeen Abdul Wahab all found the net for Kilanas FC.
Meanwhile, MS PDB coach Sahrin Hj Mohammad Jaya has warned his players not to be overconfident when they face Kilanas FC tomorrow.
"We do not know much about Kilanas FC. But I told my players not to be overconfident and just play our usual game. Lately we have been focusing on our set-piece training. We will see how it goes tomorrow," he said.
MS PDB defeated Muara Vella 3-1 in the third-round match of the tournament at the Berakas Sports Complex on November 8.
Rosmini Abdul Kahar, Khalid Mustapah and Mohd Hisam Azam scored for MS PDB in the game.
