TABUAN Muda ‘A’ finished the season in sixth place in the DST Super League after MS PDB managed a 1-1 draw with Kota Ranger FC at the Berakas Sports Complex last Sunday.
The final league game of the season was a re-scheduled match following inclement weather on January 26 at a time when Kota Ranger were still in contention for the title.
The police personnel earlier knocked their league rivals out of the DST FA Cup with an entertaining 4-2 win in the last-16.
Kota Ranger finished the season in second place after the match between Indera SC and champions MS ABDB ended in a stalemate on February 10.
MS PDB, who could have replaced Tabuan in sixth with victory, finished the season in eighth place.
Tabuan’s fate have been out of their hands following a 1-1 draw with Kasuka FC but a point for MS PDB was not enough to take them to the top six.
Tabuan’s fine form of only one defeat in eight matches helped them to be placed sixth in the table.
