TABUAN Muda A picked up their first victory in the DST Super League after edging two-time champions Indera SC 2-1 last night.
The result moves the national under-19 side up to fourth in the 11-team table with four points from three games.
On the other hand, the encounter was the first match for Indera SC since losing 2-1 to two-time defending champions MS ABDB (Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council) in the DST Sumbangsih Cup on April 19.
Substitute Md Hanif Farhan, who came on for Syazwan Hj Sahrin in the 19th minute, gave Tabuan Muda A the lead in the 34th minute at the Berakas Sports Complex.
They doubled their advantage through Abd Mateen Said three minutes after the interval.
Indera SC got back in the encounter with Nazirrudin Hj Ismail pulling one back in the 59th minute but the junior side hung on to claim all three points.
Two matches are scheduled for today with Lun Bawang hosting Najip I-Team at the Batu Apoi Sports Complex in Temburong at 3pm.
The other game will see MS ABDB take on Jerudong FC at the Tutong Sports Complex at 8.15pm.
