LLRC FT, QAF FC share spoils

LIANG Lumut Recreational Club (LLRC) FT dropped points for the first time in the DST Super League this season after drawing 2-2 against QAF FC last night.

All goals came in the opening half of the matchup at the Tutong Sports Complex.

QAF FC grabbed the lead through Muhd Abu Bakar Mahari in the 29th minute.

The advantage was short lived with Ak Mohd Hakal Pg Zaidi responding for LLRC FT six minutes later.

The latter then took the lead courtesy of M Amirul Zafrey Md Norshaney three minutes before half time.

Mohd Adie Arsham Mohd Saleh equalised for QAF FC one minute into first half stoppage time to see both teams share the spoils.

The draw moves LLRC up to third place with seven points from three games while QAF FC sit in seventh spot with three points from five matches.

Najip FC and the Royal Brunei Police Force Sports Council (MS PDB) are currently at the top of the 10-team table with nine points from four matches.

Both teams will see action tonight.

MS PDB will go up against the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council (MS ABDB) at the Balapan Track and Field of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.

Najip FC will go head-to-head against Majra United FC at the Berakas Sports Complex.
