Ms ABDB gun down QAF FC

QAF FC’s three-match unbeaten run came to a grinding halt as a double quick-fire from title-chasing MS ABDB sent them ever closer to the pinnacle of the DST Super League in a 3-0 win at the Balapan Track and Field last night.

It was a messy couple of minutes for the QAF FC defence as goals from Muhd Muhaimin bin Rosmalee who simply had to tap the ball in with the goal at his mercy and Budiman bin Jumat caused further substantial damage all in the first half.

Mohd Baharin bin Hamidon had already given MS ABDB a 16th minute lead as QAF FC found to be in a position of trailing yet again in as many matches this season.

QAF FC had to be in attacking mode and that they did flying out dangerous balls but were cleared away to safety.

QAF FC’s best chance to get their name on the score-sheet came from an attempted volley into the face of goal but was well saved by Muhd Suhandi bin Hj Awg Mahali, who looked assertive behind the sticks. Two of QAF FC’s corners were played short in an effort to perhaps change their attacking play.

A number of yellow cards were brandished in succession for both teams and for similar reasons.

One of the ABDB players had a nasty fall too after colliding into a keeper, who had collected the ball with ease.

Despite already losing twice this season with the MS PDB’s game only came about recently, the army men are now breathing down the neck of the top two in the table.

Meanwhile in another match, Wijaya FC beat Kilanas FC 4-2 at the Berakas Sports Complex.
