Bandar Seri Begawan - MS ABDB thrashed Sangsura FC 10-0 in a DST
National Football League Group C match at Belapan Track and Field Sports
Complex in Berakas.
Mohammad Hardi bin Haji Matassan scored four goals last night. The goals began as early as the third minute when Mohammad Hardi bin Haji Matassan scored the opening goal. The second goal, scored by Mohammad Khairuddin bin Abd Kadir, followed shortly in the sixth minute. Two minutes later, Mohammad Hardi bin Haji Matassan struck again for MS ABDB.
By half-time, Sangsura FC were trailing by seven goals and adopted a more defensive formation. The change in tactics worked well until the 70th minute when Abdul Azizi bin Ali Rahman broke through the defence. Mohd Faisal bin Hj Md Nafiah scored the ninth goal and Mohammad Khairuddin bin Abd Kadir added the finishing stroke of Sangsura's demise with his second goal of the night.
MS ABDB moved to the top of Group C in a group which includes Indera SC and MS PDB (Royal Brunei Police Force Sports Council). The first and second place team of each group will gain automatic qualification to compete in the elite DST-National Super League.
