QAF FC suffered yet another setback in a confidence-dampening season in the DST Super League following a 3-0 defeat at the expense of second-placed MS ABDB at the Balapan Track and Field last night.
Such was QAF FC ’s continuing disillusionment in the league that they were unable to even stifle MS ABDB’s resurgence of trying to keep in tabs with the free-scoring Indera SC’s side.
QAF FC could not find the pressing and their passing were way short of their usual flowing game. They did not cause too much trouble whereas MS ABDB were clinical in their finishing accompanied with lapse of concentration.
QAF FC fell behind in the 11th minute through Mohd Khairuddin Abd Kadir in a lead that the hosts would never relinquish.
MS ABDB found a player striding free on the right before pulling a pass to the middle in which an unmarked Abd Azizi Ali Rahman gleefully accepted to score a rasping drive.
QAF FC’s passing was easily intercepted on numerous instances and this initiated the platform for the army side to build an attack or happily keeping possession.
QAF FC did manage a shot on target but it was the only notable move that got the army side on alert.
Mohd Fadhli Hj Awg Salleh wrapped up an easy win for MS ABDB with a coolly lofted shot after beating the offside trap with relative ease and summed up QAF’s latest setback.
