"What we had planned for the game went right this time and we are very happy, we planned to control midfield in this game and try to find goals from set pieces and creating chances from crosses,"

he said.

"Defender Safari played very well, he was the best player on the field tonight, he scored three goals and he is the man of the match for us in this game," he added.

MS ABDB started off strongly, attacking relentlessly and they opened the scoring early in the game with a 4th-minute header by Ak Md Safri Pg Hj Othman who netted from close range after a great cross from Abd Azizi Ali Rahman.

Md Safari made it 2-0 as he found the net off a header from the corner kick in the 30th minute. Md Hardi Hj Matassan added another five minutes later to increase the MS ABDB's lead to 3-0 going into the second half.
