Bandar Seri Begawan - LLRC FT followed up their shock 3-2 win over MS PDB last game week with a 1-1 draw with Jerudong FC at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium last night.
Md Helmie bin Md Noorazmi's 13th minute opener looked as if it would be the deciding goal, with Jerudong FC rarely threatening in the first half. However, a second half rally saw Jerudong FC rewarded for their spirited performance, with Asnawi Syazni bin Abd Aziz denying LLRC FT all three points in the 83rd minute.
The result had no major impact on the DST Super League standings, with LLRC remaining in fifth on goal difference. Jerudong FC, meanwhile, overtook Wijaya FC into seventh due to their superior goal difference.
The Super League action continues tonight, with QAF FC expected to pick up all three points against bottom-of-the table Najip FC at the Berakas Track and Field Complex. Kick-off is at 8.15pm.
