Bandar Seri Begawan - MS PDB slipped to a surprise defeat at the hands of LLRC FT, who edged the former in a see-saw of a tie 3-2 at the Berakas Track and Field Complex last night.
Ak Md Azrul Ariffin Pg Matussin scored the only goal of the first half in the 16th minute to give LLRC a 1-0 advantage at the break.
Safuan bin Juhar extended their lead to two with his effort from the penalty spot three minutes after the restart, before APO 6438 Khalid Mustapah pulled one back in the 69th minute.
Md Shah Hafiz bin Kifli netted eight minutes later to restore the two-goal cushion, with Cpl 4346 scoring a second consolation goal deep into stoppage time.
MS PDB remain in third, but lost pace with leaders MS ABDB following last night's result. LLRC FT, meanwhile, reclaimed 5th place in the DST Super League standings after the win took them to 12 points for the season.
