Bandar Seri Begawan - Majra United FC
maintained their unbeaten record in the first season of the DST Super
League after coming back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Wijaya FC
at the Berakas Track and Field Complex last night.
Marhafiz bin Ahad struck for Wijaya FC
in first half stoppage time, and Ak Anaqi Sufi bin Pg Hj Omar Baqi's
goal a minute after the restart put Wijaya FC in a very commanding
position.
However, Majra United FC's
never-say-never attitude was apparent once more as Dannie Hendra bin
Mohd Idris cut the deficit in half in the 49th minute, before Ahmad
Hafiz bin Said bagged the equalizer nine minutes later.
Following their fourth draw in seven
games, Majra United FC move ahead of LLRC FT in the DST Super League
standings on goal difference, with the former also boasting a game in
hand.
Today is arguably the most anticipated
fixture of the r season, with table-toppers MS ABDB set to take on QAF
in a game which was supposed to be played almost two - months earlier on
Dec 22, but was postponed due to the unfavorable field conditions as a
result of heavy rainfall. Kick-off is at 8.15pm at the Hassanal Bolkiah
National Stadium.
