THE
Royal Brunei Police Forces Sports (MS PDB) thrashed Kilanas FC 6-1 to
move up to second place in the DST Super League last night.Kilanas, meanwhile remain seventh in the 10-team table with six points.
The policemen have now recorded 20 points after 11 games and are currently six points behind leaders Indera Sports Club (SC) and a point ahead of third-placed Najip FC, who defeated QAF FC 2-1 on Saturday.
Contested at the Berakas Sports Complex, Jasriman Hj Johari bagged a hat-trick for MS PDB while Zulhamzi Hj Awang, Mohd Syarafuddin Hamdi Hj Talip and captain Rosmini Hj Abdul Kahar all found the net in the victory.
Jasriman opened the scoring in the fourth minute and made it 2-0 just three minutes later.
Zulhamzi set the scores at 3-0 in th 19th minute but a strike from Mohd Nor Hidayatullah Hj Zaini meant Kilanas entered the break trailing 3-1.
Skipper Rosmini added to his team’s comfortable lead with a 56th minute goal.
Jasriman then went on to bag his hat-trick with a goal five minutes from time to set the scoreboard at 5-1.
Mohd Syarafuddin then provided the icing on the cake with an 89 minute goal.
Action continues today with a match between Liang Lumut Recreational Club (LLRC) Football Team (FT).
The game kicks off at 8.15pm at the Tutong Sports Complex.
